Mrs H from Port Elizabeth, South Africa,
"I needed to relocate to Ireland from South Africa, and had had months of struggling to find somewhere to stay or someone to communicate with about available properties, and then I found Lesley. She worked very fast to find me a place to stay that was close enough to shops, on a bus route to my workplace and in my budget. Lesley also went out of her way to pick me up from the airport and help me get the first few essentials to get settled for the first couple of days. She offered to answer any queries I have for the months to come while I navigate living in a new country, it was really an easy transition for me mostly because of Lesley's help. Thank you."
Mr & Mrs G from Sydney, Australia,
"Relocating from Australia at short notice, with 3 school age children was made so much easier having a "local" specialist who really understood and guided us through the whole school and house rental process.
Lesley’s detailed knowledge and personal connections to schools and estate agents opened doors and resulted in an efficient and hassle free move. We are now in a lovely house in the area of Dublin we wanted and the kids are in our first choice school.
Lesley offers a personalised service and always went the extra mile to answer our queries and advocated on our behalf, offering tips and insights along the way.
We could not have got here and settled in Dublin so seamlessly without her."
Thank you Lesley."
Mr & Mrs M from Russia,
"We were looking for a house close to our kid’s school. It’s very difficult to find a suitable accommodation in particular area of Dublin in a short time, but Lesley coped with this task very quickly. She was always very attentive to our requests, helped with signing the contract and with all the details related to the move. Thanks to Lesley finding the accommodation was very comfortable."
Mr C from USA
"I contacted Local Line after already here, while staying in temporary housing for limited duration; for me the timing was tight and I already knew generally the location where I wanted to be. The thing that impressed me about Lesley is that she was so fast and extremely responsive as the search began. From the time she began showing me listings until I saw the apartment I would make my home was a total of 4 days. She is very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. She was my advocate to navigate confusing waters as a newcomer to the country. Thank you, Lesley!"
Mr N from Moscow,
"Colleagues gave me Lesley’s contact details before I moved to Dublin from Moscow. Unfortunately, I had no relocation packages paid by my employer and I had no intention to stay in the hotel for a long time.
It is literally impossible to find a decent apartment in Dublin right now. Every viewing has about 50 people, some of them local and everyone is willing to take the apartment. Lesley chose apartments, viewed them and sent me all the pluses and minuses. She listened to my requirements while I still was in Moscow. When I arrived in Dublin, we viewed several of the best options, then Lesley found an even better apartment with a sea view between two parks in the prestigious Monkstown. She was able to convince the landlord to show it to us before the formal viewing. Lesley has the ability to understand your priorities, convince landlords you are the best tenant, find the best apartment and also be of real help. All of this gives me the right to recommend Lesley as your agent to find accommodation and school places in Dublin.
With Lesley, your move to Dublin will be easy and pleasant. Respect, Vasili
Mr & Mrs M from London
"Lesley's knowledge of the premier Dublin schools and the best available properties is extensive. She is quite simply your 'go to' if you're considering relocating to Dublin. Don't even think about making the move without her!"
Mr & Mrs B from Lisbon
"Our goal was to find a family home to rent in Dublin 15 for us and our two grown-up sons. After searching for 3 months we were unable to overcome the hurdle that was the family dog. I contacted Local Line Relocation and since day one I had full attention from Lesley Light. She was tireless in searching for a home that met our specific requirements. With her know-how and strong work ethics in less than 3 weeks, Lesley got us a beautiful house that met all our requirements and we are very grateful to her for that"
Mr & Mrs G from London
"Completely by chance, I found Lesley from Local Line. We met at Easter in Dublin and she has been nothing but amazingly helpful from the start. She is also very nice and approachable. It is not a cheap service but for us it was worth every penny. My husband works very long hours in a very pressured job and I work from home. Travelling to Dublin to visit many houses was not doable and adding all the costs that it would have been a relocating agent was effectively cheaper.
We already had a school for our children but she can definitively help with that too. For us Lesley - Found a few houses, all meeting our requirements but was able to snap up a period property which is in our preferred location so we can walk/cycle to school; Lesley, organised the inventory of the house and the key exchange.
Lesley also advised on health insurance - which is very different than in the UK, recommend a few camps/clubs and answered all the questions I had regarding the move and made it generally less stressful for me.
I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Good luck if you are considering that move, for us it was one of the best decision ever!"

I am a Qualified Chartered Accountant and have spent the majority of my career in the Banking industry in the city of London. In 2008 I left Banking to pursue opportunities in the property development arena in London and Surrey.
I relocated to Dublin from Reigate in Surrey, in 2015 with my husband and two children. My eldest child had just sat the entrance exams to a selection of private secondary schools when we were presented with the opportunity to relocate to Dublin. As a result, we have visited a large number of schools in the London/ Home Counties area and are familiar with the standard of facilities these schools have to offer and the high expectations of Parents with regards to educational standards.
The lessons learned from our own relocation experience give a valuable insight into the key factors that make a relocation service invaluable to a client.
We believe that the combination of personal experience and access to a comprehensive network of local people puts us in the unique position to add value to any client’s relocation to Dublin. The opportunity to speak to the right people provides clients with the information they need to make informed decisions that ultimately make a relocation a successful one.
